Abstract:

The dissertation focuses on the development of a software platform that facilitates collaborative cataloging through the use of linked data and Semantic Web technologies. Its objective is to optimize the cataloging process by employing RDA and RDF standards, enabling automated data validation, change tracking, and ensuring collaboration among libraries. By evaluating existing tools and developing a novel prototype system, the research aims to create a platform that enhances the accuracy and collaborative editing of bibliographic records.
