Professor at the department of Information and Electronics Engineering
KazakopoulosAristotelis was born in Thessaloniki in 1956. In 1973, following successful entrance examinations, he entered the Department of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. He followed the direction of Electrical Engineering and graduated in 1978 with grade 7.7. From 1981 to 1986 he worked as scientific collaborator at the Department of Electronics at ATEI Thessaloniki and also as a free lancer electrical and mechanical engineer. From1986 to 1989 he worked as an instructor at the Greek Secondary Technical Education. In 1989 he was elected Laboratoty Professor at the Department of Electronics at the ATEI of Thessaloniki and in 1993 Assistant professor at the same department. From 1996 to 2000 he was head of the Department of Electronics of ATEI of Thessaloniki. In June 2010 he received a ph degree from the Department of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in ‘Ionic Conductivity of solid electrolytes’. In February 2012 he was elected Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics of ATEI Thessalonki. He taught Electronics III, Power Electronics, Microcontrollers I,II, Applications of Microcontrollers, Communication Networks, Electric Measurements, Electronic Physics, Microwaves, Digital Circuits I, Mass media I,II, Architecture of Computer Systems. In September2014 he was elected Head of the Department of Electronics at ATEI Thessssaloniki. From September 2014 until November 2017 he was the head of the Department of Electronics at ATEI Thessaloniki. From September 2016 he became first degree professor at the Department of Electronics of ATEI Thessssaloniki. From September 2019 he is Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at International Hellenic University.
