The Department of Information and Electronics Engineering offers the following postgraduate study programs:
MSc in New Technologies, Innovation, and Teaching in the Educational Sciences
The Postgraduate Program (M.Sc.) titled “New Technologies, Innovation, and Teaching in the Educational Sciences” is co-organized by the Department of Information and Electronic Systems Engineering and the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care of the International Hellenic University.
The two collaborating departments focus on Information/Electronic Technologies and Educational Sciences in their undergraduate programs, respectively. The collaboration between the two departments perfectly aligns with the academic focus of the M.Sc., which refers both to the field of technological knowledge and to the innovative perspective of integrating it into teaching methods within the educational framework.
The program is aimed at all university and TEI graduates who work or are interested in the field of education. Its goal is to produce and disseminate high-level interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in the field of education, with an emphasis on the utilization of new technologies and the exploration and application of innovative teaching approaches in education.
The duration of the program is 3 semesters, corresponding to 90 ECTS credits, and the awarded degree is classified at level 7 of the National Qualifications Framework. To obtain the degree, students must complete either 9 courses without a dissertation or 7 courses and a dissertation.
The program is designed to meet the specific needs of adults, and the educational process is conducted exclusively through synchronous distance learning using the Zoom platform, without requiring physical presence. Additionally, asynchronous teaching methods are utilized through the Moodle platform.

MSc in Web Intelligence
The postgraduate programme “Master of Science (MSc) in Web Intelligence” provides advanced knowledge in sophisticated computer technologies related to Intelligent Web Applications. The MSc is designed to provide graduate-level education in Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Technologies for internet applications.
The purpose of the MSc is to create advanced scientific and vocational training through the provision of expertise in Intelligent Web Technologies, which could be used in the analysis of intelligent information systems, evaluation and implementation of intelligent technologies and the development of new technologies.
Graduates of the MSc are expected to acquire the necessary skills for successful careers as senior executives in both the private sector (design and software development in IT companies, IT departments of large companies etc.) and public sector (public organizations, educational institutes, research centers, etc.).

Applied Electronic Systems
The postgraduate programme “Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Electronic Systems” is completed after 3 semesters (full-time students) or more (part-time students), after the successful assessment in 8 modules and the completion of an individual postgraduate thesis. In the first and second semesters the full-time students attend 4 modules per semester, whereas during the third semester the students need to devise their individual postgraduate thesis..

MSc in Digital and Soft Skills in Educational Sciences
The MSc in “Digital and soft skills in the educational sciences” is aimed at contributors to the learning process in general. The range of topics discussed concerns both the cultivation of abilities and skills of the actors of the learning process themselves, as well as their preparation to transmit through education the key social demands regarding both digital and soft skills.
It aims to enhance the professional profile of trainers and pedagogues and bring reform dynamics to the learning process. It looks to shape the intention and develop the ability to exploit the new technologies by the actors of the learning process, in a way that is interconnected with the parallel cultivation of soft skills, in a dialogic relationship.
It is a collaboration of the Departments:
of Education and Care in Early Childhood of the School of Social Sciences and
Department of Informatics and Electronic Systems Engineering, School of Engineering, International Hellenic University.
The duration of the studies is 3 semesters and provides 90 ECTS, while it is included in level 7 of the National Qualifications Framework.
It can provide certification of “Pedagogical and Teaching Proficiency”, as well as proficiency in “Computer Use” based on ASEP regulations.
It provides the possibility of completing the studies, either with a thesis, or alternatively without a thesis by choosing courses.
